Helping yourself and a student at HEART!

When you participate in a Hearts Blooming programs, you are sponsoring the education of a child at the HEART in Haiti School and will receive a gift from them, like this drawing from Westberlie, who is in the first grade.

Did you know that there is no public education in Haiti and families have to decide how many of their children they can afford to send to school? Mare Andreozzi talks about what it means to sponsor a student:

"My husband and I are thrilled to be sponsoring first grader Westberlie at the HEART in Haiti School. She is in our thoughts every day and I keep her picture in my office. When my grandchildren visit, I show them Westberlie and talk about how we are helping her to receive an education. We hope the little we can do for this sweet girl from afar, will keep her safe and fed both in mind and body."
